Life of a Leprechaun

Jennine was a leprechaun, and a very friendly one at that.

Whenever people approached her, asking for a lucky charm or a piece of her gold, she would kindly inform them of her lack of funds, the result of years of thefts. She would tell them, in her tiny Irish voice, of how she no longer had any gold to give, anything to share. She simply gave them a bit of thoughtful advice, and sent them on their way.

Jennine was often caught scavenging for food, either tipping trash cans with the raccoons or merely hanging out in behind fast food establishments.

Jennine was never angry at her lot. She simply shared her story, and warned others of the potential dangers of trusting too much. Then she would return to the streets, looking for the next place to sleep.
