The cheese was hot and sticky, and Giselle was nervous about it.
“I don’t think we should eat that, Jeff,” she said.
“Why not? It’s good. Just dip your fingers in, and slurp it up!”
“It’s a bad idea. Aren’t you supposed to have, like, bread or something? Maybe some veggies?”
“That sounds like a nice idea, but I didn’t bring those. Besides, I’m sure it’s fine like this. The instructions only said to make the cheese fondue, not to make anything else. So cheese fondue it is!”
Jeff leaned forward and scooped the liquid up in his hand. He immediately regretted it, running out into the chilly air screaming. Giselle rolled her eyes, grabbed a spoon, and started to eat.
