Valentine

Edgar handed a Valentine’s Day card to everyone except for Garry.

Garry noticed, and frowned. He approached Edgar.

“Hey, Ed?”

“Yes, Garry?”

“I, um, think you forgot me.”

“Hm?”

“In the Valentines. I didn’t get a card.”

“That’s true. Yours is a special one.” Edgar reached into his bag and pulled out a larger card. “I didn’t want to give it out with the others, because it would look suspect for me give one person a larger one. But here you go.”

“Um, thanks,” Garry said, taking the card back to his seat. He opened the card, and found a loving poem written inside. He looked up, and saw Edgar smiling at him. He smiled back. Edgar winked, and Garry started writing a note to meet after class.
