Following the agreement of the human king, Belen solidified her plans for revolution.
It was an iffy plan. The giants had many sympathizers and apologists, despite the grueling slavery in which they kept everyone who wasn’t a giant. Indeed, the giants lived a life of luxury off the backs of the elves, the humans, and anyone else they decided to conquer, yet still people groveled and touted the life of peace and safety the giants brought them. Even when the giants smashed the friends of these same people with their clubs.
Belen was no giant’s friend. Not since one had stomped on her mother. Not since they had destroyed the houses of her friends. Since her birth, really, Belen had hated the giants.
She sent messages to the humans, and to all the elves, as far and wide as possible: Revolution to begin soon. Ready weapons. Ready people. Send word back in confirmation. Two weeks hence, we fight for true freedom.
